TGIF! Right? Eh. I'm a lady who likes to come home after conquering a long week of work and have myself a drink (or two...). I rocked it today. Felt no sort of feelings towards food, when my sister and I were texting neither of us were feeling the hunger. It was great. It was a long day though. It snowed and it took me and hour and a half to get to work and I was slipping and sliding and I was late and had to stay late blah blah blah give me a beer. Can't have one. Can't have nothing. But I get to watch my wonderful husband drink one. Sigh.
I quickly tucked the thought behind all others and made a killer chili instead. I had made a homemade sauce on Sunday and it made this chili extra special. I'm excited to post this recipe for all y'all because its a winner. Made my cold day so warm and spicy. And the way that cashew "sour cream" melts into it like the real deal....my sister and I were very satisfied at the end of day 5. She brought home some fresh blackberries for dessert. Delightful. Almost better than some red wine?
Todays menu fueled me for an extra long work out and I'm not even hungry. Not one bit. Bring it on toxin free weekend!
