Dark Chocolate Avocado Pudding
2 ripe Avocados, peeled and pitted
4 Dates, soaked
1 cup Almond Milk (or any other milk substitute of your choice), more if needed to obtain desired consistency
1/2 cup Raw Cacao Powder
Optional: Berries, fruit, nuts, Cacao nibs, Gogi berries...whatever your heart desires to top off this smooth dark chocolate dream
Soak dates in almond milk for an hour, or over night. Once dates are soft, add all ingredients to a blender. Blend until smooth and thoroughly combined, adding more almond milk if needed to obtain your desired consistency. This pudding should be thick and creamy and have a very chocolate-y color to it. Place your avocado chocolate puddings into small cups, topping with your favorite berries, fruits or super foods. Enjoy this decadent treat as a dessert, breakfast or snack.
I happened to make this pudding as part of my husband and I's Valentines day brunch. When its loaded with nutrients, a chocolate treat can absolutely be consumed at breakfast!
