Tropical Green Smoothie (From 2015 Cleanse)
5 Pineapple Chunks
1 Medium Carrot, peeled and cut into chunks
2 Large handfuls of greens (Spinach, Kale, whatever you have in the fridge...)
1 tbsp Chia Seeds
2 tsp Maca Powder
2 cups unsweetened Almond Milk (add more depending on your preferred consistency)
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until all ingredients combined and smooth. Enjoy right away, the colder the better!
Tip: Peel bananas and place in a bag in the freezer a day ahead of time. Have a bag of frozen bananas in the freezer for your smoothie making pleasures. Keep the smoothie nice and cold without watering it down with ice cubes. Frozen bananas also gives the smoothie a wonderful texture!
