This smoothie is a great hydrator, its loaded with healthy omegas and the lime and pineapple make it great for digestion.
Lime In The Coconut Smoothie
1 Coconut, water and meat, shell discarded
1 cup Coconut water (in addition to that from the coconut)
1 cup almond or cashew milk
1 Banana, frozen
1 cup Pineapple
1 Carrot, peeled and cut into chunks
1/4 Avocado, pitted and peeled
2 tbsp Chia Seeds
1 Lime, Juiced
1 large handful Spinach
3 ice cubes
Place all ingredients into a blender. Blend on high speed until contents are throughly mixed. Coconut can have a "grainy" texture if not blended well enough. Make sure to blend well, 1 minute or more if needed (its well worth it!). Best enjoyed cold and fresh out of the blender, like an island breeze!
